Antifouling is critical in protecting your boat. 

Which antifouling paint you should use depends on your vessel’s size, speed, and how often it’s in the water. Choosing the right type of antifouling and applying it correctly will help the propellers and running gear stay clean and operate at its best. That often means using less fuel because marine growth is not inhibiting speed performance.

Hard antifouling releases a biocide from the surface coating to deter organisms. The biocide can wear off after a few seasons so it’s important to get antifouling done on a regular basis.
